ABOUT
McKenna Ziegler is a therapy trainee specializing in treating adolescents, young adults, and parents. She has contributed to publications like Scientific American and National Geographic Kids, where she focused on teaching readers about science and the brain. With a background as a neuroscience researcher at UC San Francisco, McKenna has authored research studies on cognition, neuroinflammation, and brain injury.
In her therapy practice, McKenna works with teens and young adults navigating anxiety, perfectionism, and addiction. She has developed programs to help teens quit nicotine and weed, providing healthier coping strategies, and has successfully supported dozens of teens in breaking free from these addictions. As someone with ADHD, McKenna is particularly passionate about working with neurodivergent teens, helping them leverage their unique strengths and reach their full potential.
